Australian National Series at Shepparton this weekend

Rounds 3 & 4 of the Australia National Series will be held at Shepparton BMX Club on Saturday, February 7 & Sunday, February 8, 2015.

Competitors, will travel from all over Australia chasing National Series points, but with the Olympics only 18 months away they will be joined by some of New Zealand and Japan’s best. Australia’s favourite adopted son American Barry Nobles will also be joining the stampede.

The 38 rider strong Elite Men’s field will include a who’s who of Aussie BMX. We’re talking names like Bodi Turner, Josh Callan, Corey Frieswyk, Alex Cameron, Max Cairns, Aaron Nottle, Michael Fenwick. 2008 Olympian Luke Madill will join the series after sitting out the first two rounds.

The Elite Women’s class will include the 2013 World Champion Caroline Buchanan and runner up Lauren Reynolds along with Melinda McLeod. With 10 of the fastest women in the country going head to head, it’s going to be a tough couple of days in the office.
