| I have two EXPERTS in the garage and they are both 19.5" top tubes. One is a 2010 model the other a 2011 model. All ONE frames have the same geometry each year, it is just the tube sizing and shape that changes. The head angles and seat angles and Chainstays always remain the same. |

This is an Australian Championships so I hope the best riders come to race it, so they should be able to ride any track if they are good enough.
Spectator room is tight but not everyone is there at the same time so we will have to manage.
We better get used to it, we are there for a few years yet!
Still believe with the amount of money we pay that a fairer playing ground be provided for a National Event, something purpose built and indoors would be nice. |

Bike specs are the same, however the design is different. The 2012 frame has a lower standover height yet the Top Tube measurements are comparable. My lads wnet from the 2011 to the same size frame in the 2012 and there was no differnece as fare as the feel of the geometry, just took them a while to get used to the lower stand over height. Top tube, chainstays and seat tube angles and head tube angles are all the same.
My younger som loves the 2012 frame yet my eldest prefers the 2011! The eldest son doesn't like to not feel the seat between his legs for bike control as much! Daughter is on a Pro and loves it.
New 2013 models come out at the end of the month and are a new set up again!
Once you ride ONE you will want ONE. |

The only way to address the concerns of not enough coaching and Elitism, is for people to stop looking at what others aren't doing right and go and get your own qualifications and get to Level 1 as a coach and put in the time and hard yards to make the changes you want. Too many people sit back and whinge about not getting this and people doing that and ego this and my kid misses out. Get off ya bums and go and get qualified and then see how it looks on the other side.
It is a thankless job with countless hours spent supporting the kids in the sport for amazing rewards, watching your riders excel at what they have chosen to do as a sport. Coaches and officials are volunteers and don't get paid to do what they try and do best! We do it because we love the sport and watching others who love the sport doing their very best, that makes it all worthwhile. So many people whinge about what they don't or aren't getting, so think about what you do get and be grateful. If it isn't good enough, get off ya bums and make it happen! |

Hey all, if there are any issues with refunds or transferring entries then email Helen at actbmxaregistrar@gmail.com
I was under the impression that there was a cut off date for refunds due to the ordering of transponders (again) and the cost nvolved in that. It was advertised on the website. |

The double points round is in line with BMXA's guidelines for the Series which is written on their website. It also outlines points break down and other issues.
My assistant Coach and I developed the Wildcard system for the ACT Series to ensure fairness to all riders! We have the luxury of having a smaller rider pool and no zones or any major contentious issues that could possibly arise for other states.
We always find that the cream always rises to the top and with teh current guidelines we have developed it makes it fair for all involved. Some other States may want to take a leaf out of it!
Also our Dynamite Squad trains year round with our Senior Squad in the State Team for a "team" environment and mentoring concept in an individual sport. Works well mostly! Some individual competiveness raises it head from time to time, but essentially it works well! Kids love it! We don't run a series and then train just before the Aussies, we believe that our way works well! Once again we are lucky due to our situation with the size of our rider pool and proximity to each other. |

| Be good to see the NSW State Titles at Penrith next year! The track has ample parking if access to the ovals is available, heaps of seating for spectators, toilet amenities, new track and amazing lighting! What else could you ask for? |
