Thanks for the replies everyone. We will be driving down from Gladstone Friday night so we might call in and race at Maryborough on the way through unless we can pull the kids from school early and I have a day off work ......... now there is a thought hahahha

I have noticed this with BMXQ for the past few years. It does state that the double points round WILL not be held at State Championships. It will be interesting to see what happens for this upcoming year  Been run the same way since its inception so why would it change for 2013? |

Item: 2012 Carbon Redline ProXXL complete Location: Rockhampton, Central QLD – but willing to ship
Item Condition: Never Raced – as new – excellent condition
Reason for selling: Never been raced. Not needed.
Price and price conditions: Only $1900
Extra Info: Exactly as you would get it out of the box. Brand new condition. Stored inside the house. Never raced.

Was a great event and well run by BMXQ and supported by Cairns BMX (if that is the correct way of putting it?)
There was heaps of discussion about the second straight whilst there. Just wondering what the overall thoughts were, as we are looking at track changes and wondering if that is the way we should be heading - i.e. deep and peaky jumps...
Interesting to note that from Aussies last year in Cairns, 'on average' times for classes seem to be around 2 secs slower. Not always the case but an interesting observation.
