| I have a 20"and a Cruiser, if you were only taking 1 bike you could get the cruiser in, the cruiser wheels are a tight fit though! if taking 20" no problems, you could get 2 x 20" in easily! I took both bikes to Tassie this year, i had both my bikes, except for cruiser wheels, all riding gear including helmet into the DK golf bag. The cruiser wheels went into a Boogie board bag, with my tools, pump etc to even out the weight. |

Felt Pro cruiser frame 2010 (i think) - white - comes with Felt seat pole, D-Spyder S-Spec seat and generic seat clamp.
Rear dropouts filed longer so could REALLY slam the back end with 1.5" tyre on back. I had back end at 14.75"
VERY light 1.6Kg
Good Condition, usual marks from transport and racing
$120
Will have at Vic's this weekend |

I'd love to head over there for the Tassie Titles, however the Victorian race calendar is so stacked with open meetings that it makes it hard. for example between October and November there is a Open meeting on 6 out of the 8 weekends and on top of that the tassies titles always seem to clash with the Portland/Warnambool weekend.
I always try and support regional race events such as Portlland/Warnie/ Bendigo etc cause if we dont, the sport dies off in those parts. lf it was possible that BMXV and BMX Tasmania could work out a schedule that allowed me to attend both. I'd be more than happy to head over Bass Straight.
Gordy,
i agree with you in supporting the struggling clubs, next year is that year, Portland and Warnambool have been moved to middle of the year by some bright spark in BMXV and are on different weekends so won't be a double header! Will probably be the death of the Portland Open. Knox is now on the Melbourne Cup long weekend next year!!!! |

Definately was a fantastic weekend, weather was too hot for me but better than rain. Track was in AWESOME condition, you could really carve into the corners with full confidence.
Thanks to Irene and Glen who hosted me for the weekend to keep my costs down.
I don't know anyone that would come away disappointed from a Tassie state titles trip, great people, great track(s) and great atmosphere. |

The whole event went well, until my final where i came 7th!!!!
I HUGE thumbs up to all officials, volunteers and members that put on a great display of how it should be done! |

| I think you will find the stiffer and heavier they are the stronger they are. The weight difference would be minimal but the tear resistance and protection can be very different. I would rather have something that can survive a good slide on the gravel and still be used, my current pair survived a slide down the Eastfield starthill from the gate to the start of the gravel and are still usable. |

| Come on you Melbourne riders, the riders from the Warnambool and Portland tracks travel to lots of the Melbourne races, pay the favor back and support these clubs, they do a great job with very little support and always put on a great race! |

Bikes all packed, although might have to re-arrange some things yet.
Looking forward to going down and catching with the friendly people i met last year.
Looks as if weather is going to be kind, last year was a shocker being in the mid 30's everyone trying to find shade! |

Hey Munchkin, That bike is sick. I really, really like the looks of the Supercross stuff, but am having a super hard time finding a dealer in Brisbane that will work with the distributor. I am looking at building up a 20", cos it sounds like the 20" Envy complete's are a long way away. You obviously have a fair bit of cash into that thing. Super trick though. How have you found it to ride??
Probably not as much cash as you think, i have built it up over a couple of years to get it to where it is now. It rides great but the lack of wieght does make it interesting at times. Out of the gate is where it makes the most difference. |
