Women do not ride the same course lets get that straight and they do not pay the same entry fee !!!! . There were 6 elite women entered at an entry fee of of far less than the $250 that the Elite men had to pay. So with 26 Elite men paying $250 each entry and riding a far more chalenging track you would expect that they would recieve more prize money for winning than 6 elite women paying an entry fee of $100 and something bucks wouldnt you.
So saying that the men are stealing money from the girls you are wrong. When you take the time and look up the UCI break down of prize money then look at the entry fees paid by the Elite men and Junior men as oposed to the entry fee paid by the Junior Women and Elite Women I think it will show that the real BMX Bandits are the girls. |
