Any input as to when we will be watching the BMX on TV?  Is it going to be a 3am job, or might it be some 'normal' viewing time?

Latest Alpha Mag has published Channel  7 Free to Air coverage. Day 12 Prelims and Day 13 Finals. Though no time specified. May have to set recorder on Long Play.

The complete daily schedule including times (in MS Excel) is linked to at the bottom of http://en.beijing2008.cn/schedule/

The latest schedule is here....
tp://en.beijing2008.cn/upload/Competition_Schedule/by_Session_v2.114.xls

At the moment, BMX finals on day 13 (Thursday 21/8) are 9:00am to 11:18am in China which translates to 11am to 1:18pm on the OZ east coast. Also appears to line up with North American prime time viewing.....hmmm.

Channel 7 are usually pretty good at showing finals and significant events with Aussies is them on or around the time they happen.

Hi WAMUM I rang the number you posted and spoke to a guy called George and he put me on hold, got the program times and told me. I didn't have to contest anything. He did ask though where I was calling from. This may mean you don't get the same programming as we do on the East coast region. My wife said she saw the BMX advertised in the Sunday Telegraph (paper) in an Olympic handout. Ask the person who answers the number when you ring is it not telecast in your region. I would hope that someone makes a DVD of it and makes it available for sale. Wouldn't that DVD sell well worldwide Grin

U'mmmmm I'm sort of stuck here........do I convert the captured broadcast to something that everyone can keep for ever? Cause that's what I would love to do, what do you reckon? Or should I be careful and not, well you know.
