Talking  to people from our council today and was told that things are looking good for aussies as they were asked to give a written assurance that they will give then everything that they had put in the proposal that was submitted. The council has since done this and are now waiting on a reply from BMXA.They are suppose to have an answer by this Wednesday.Hopefully will be able to give you all an answer soon after that.

Yes it would definitely be a good thing for the sport to take it there.  Looking forward to it.  Hope it happens.

WOW........... that's 2 WOW's for one day Grin, hey Smiley have you guys secretly gone for the Aussies in 2010 Cool cause I'm pretty sure we didn't at Ashmore and I should know I'm Ashmore's secretary........plus our hands are prety full with the Southern zone champs and not to mention the state champs this year  Roll Eyes

Who knows where this came from? The Gold Coast convention centre would be the go, they held a major Rodeo there last year, there might even be some dirt mixed with horse manure left over.........could remind us of this years Aussies I reckon Roll Eyes

Before anyone repeats the rumour or gets it running away wildly.  The 2010 Nationals are NOT in Gladstone(Harbour City) Queensland.  A few of us  have been approached with this question.  We have not and will not be applying to host the event in 2010.  I'm more than happy to go to Shepparton? or if Gorey or Smiley change their mind ? the Gold Coast would be a good second choice if Shep miss out.

Today at the shootout I was told they were indoor on the Goldcoast! One small problem we don't have anywhere indoor big to hold an event.Maybe brisbane may have a area big to hold the event!

YES they do............Unfortunately they have have a habit of catching on fire Roll Eyes really......I've been to 'em when they have Cheesy

The Gold Coast Convention Centre is the way to go...........like I said in a past post, they had a National bull riding Rodeo there, with I believe nearly 8,000 PAID spectators in the building and of course a full size rodeo yard in the middle (probably the same size specs of a indoor dressage competiton layout........if you get my drift Roll Eyes)
