That would be a real shame.  I think if that were the case it would be a very poorly attended event.  Adelaide is fast loosing its attraction as a BMX destination and a holiday location.  It's becoming BORING.

Give the Vic's a go.  Nobody has been there for ages.

We at the Tuggeranong Club would love to hold the Aussies at our track again. It has been a while and we are currently updating the track, viewing areas and infastructure in a view to hosting them again one day. We have ample parking and great viewing areas and a challenging track with a soon to be built pro section and now technical sections added to the track. Just a thought Grin

Mate........I'm sorry to dissapoint you and totally off the topic, but going by a quick google "first BMX club in Australia" it come up with a quote from a Victorian Club Geelong "love their web site".

http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=first+bmx+racing+club+in+australia&meta=cr%3DcountryAU

I know I could be stirring something up, but I quote from the Geelong site.

The History of BMX Racing

BMX Racing (Bicycle Moto Cross) originated in Southern California in 1970.
By 1976 the sport had found its way to Australia, first in Queensland then spreading throughout Australia. BMX Racing Clubs are now located in every State and Territory of Australia.

It's strange cause I always thought it started in NSW  Angry

Please don't get upset Fletch as it was my other half who pointed it out.  Wink .....she made me post something back Cry

PS.....I would love you guys in Vic to get the Aussies, as we have never had the pleasure to race in Victoria.
