WOW that is so creative! I know my daughter will love to have an Australian Jersey but like I said in another thread, too bad no real creativity is involved in our jerseys. All they are is a variation of the last jersey, not a modern creative style like other countries are using. Good ol boring BMXA. At least this was predictable! Wink

I don't mind it actually - classy / not tacky or trashy, and won't date like other designs... i actually prefer it over the USA jersey, not too much 'bling'.

Highlighting the southern cross is a positive, seems to be 'identifiable' with AUS

Consistent with Cycling Australia uniform - building team Australia "brand".

Understated but easily identifiable as Australian..

bonzai, remember that bmxa is just a small part of cycling australia these days and this design is cycling aust's uci approved design used by all australian cycling at world champs. I'm just happy we all will in the same tops, not like the last couple of years where everyone but the HP riders were in the green with white and gold stipes and the HP guys were in this top.

Yeh don't get me wrong I do understand the whole CA thing and I love the fact my little girl will get to ride for Australia, I especially love the southern cross but it is reasonably plain compared to some of the other jersey designs I have seen in the past from other Countries.

I also agree it will be good to see ALL Aussies in the same jersey. I love it because my little girl will get to wear it proudly, but wish it was more creative.

Cool bonzai, I get what your saying. I guess it would be good to have it modenized a bit but I geuss CA are still a bunch of road and track guys at heart and a little more conservative than your average bmxer or mtber.

Good call bobcatzz, it's a bit hard to swallow but whats the bet that GB's adidas and the US Nike tops are made in china as well, and probably cost them more because of the name, I dont think that bmxa/ca are the only federation make good $$$$ from there jersey sales.

British Cycling require you wear the GB Adidas jersey.

However, (to my knowledge) the GB jersey hasn't changed since 2005, i.e. you don't have to buy a new one every year...

Just showed my 10 year old. He went very quiet, he said he likes it but it's a bit plain thought there would be more green and gold. But he did says he's just happy to be wearing an Australian Jersey no matter what it looks like.

I think it's a bit of a shame that the Jersey will be on sale for the general public. These kids have worked hard to earn these and now anyone who goes to watch can pick one up. Takes alot away from our Australian riders. Especially if they go on special.
