Don't know who the Merkin8r is but I think he was the first person in australia to put a racer cluster and derailleur on a bmx. If my memory serves me correctly it was a  Moosegoose and I'm sure it was 1 of his mates that i seen riding a bmx with drop bars. Roll Eyes

Who Am I ?
Who Is The Merkin8r ?
Published on April 11, 2025 by Dr J McPhillian , L.C.S.W. in A Shift of Mind

This question - asked so often - suggests that there is actually a plausible answer. Almost as if The Merkin8r were a fixed thing. People who ask this sort of question are typically struggling with their identity and are searching for a core sense of themselves. The irony is that the more you seek to identify The Merkin8r , the more fragile you are likely to feel about yourself. There may be an inverse correlation between the question being asked and the ease with which you experience your life. The emphasis shouldn't be on discovering who The Merkin8r is (what is buried beneath the balaclava) but on facilitating the emergence of what you'd like to experience.
The Merkin8r's identity should be seen as an ongoing process. Rather than a static snapshot, you should embrace a flowing sense of self, whereby you are perpetually re-framing, re-organizing, re-thinking and re-considering yourselves. How different would life be if rather than asking who The Merkin8r is , we contemplated how we'd like to engage life?........ you're welcome !
