big thanks for all the pro,s who made the trek to eastfield fantastic to see the TOUR is gathering momentum with jake and jackie looking like the favourites in A and PRO LADIES, and all mixed winners and crashes for AA and VET as soon as we get the results we will get you the points.
als big thanks to the EASTFIELD club awesome job guys well run!
we had great constructive feedback from a elder statesman of the sport so thanks for that, its good when it comes from someone who is doing so much to help the sport change from the boring stagnant calendar and poor turnouts of last year to the full gates 50+ pro,s we have this year all racing for the competition as the money for this year is quite small! for the first 2 rnds.
are we safe to say the pros have shed their FICKLE name tag i believe so!
roll on rnd 3 i heard entries close this friday so don't miss out.

hey guys an update for the UNITED sponsored PRA CUP the points race is definitely not a foregone conclusion due to Mr sverns dominant display in A men and the semi bonus points put him close on jackies wheels.

PRO TOUR rnd 3 is in the history books and each round just gets better!
on behalf of the PRA we would like to congratulate the PO CLUB on a well run event and super fast track, look out for the points we will get them on our Facebook page and ultra news as soon as we get them!
also we will have a new feature and unique view of the pro racing from mossy and co so keep an eye out for that!
big thanks also to the pro classes for their support we had 57 pro's riding 3 finals for payback if some one would have said that to me 12 months ago i would have fell about laughing! lets keep it up guys as we move on to GEELONG.

Well what a ripper of a day! Trav and I had a chat after we were able to catch our breath from the frantic pace of the Pro Tour riders tearing it up at Park Orchards today for Round No 3. In the Pro Ladies class young Jaclyn Wilson leads the charge but how tough are the BMXMAD riders, Erin Anderson & Emily Richardson after a major crash in heat 2! Both ladies picked themselves up and finished the day in style. The dark horse of the class is Caroline Sobotka as she made some terrific moves through the day and seems to be enjoying her racing.
Vet Pro, well what can we say?! The guys are very fast but Gary Morgan took the honours today with 3 wins, followed closely by the Slatter boys. Kiddle, Rickett and Rogers are just waiting for those boys to make a mistake and take advantage.
A Men!!!!!!!!!! The depth of this class is absolutely unbelievable! Pope and I were perplexed in regards to whom the rider of the day may be but, Te "Freako" won the day infront of a star studded group of lads including the birthday boy Matty White (14 yrs old today) finishing 3rd, Jake Sverns (JS) finished 2nd but didn't seem to have the same fire in the belly as usual, still great riding.
AA Men, the elite in our sport did not disappoint! Heat 1, Olivier Hoarau (1st) Tom Siinmaa (2nd) Jordan Morgan (3rd). Heat 2, Tom Siinmaa (1st) Matthew Dunsworth (2nd) Olivier Hoarau (3rd). Heat 3, Matthew Dunsworth (1st) Tom Siinmaa (2nd) Dave Habicht (3rd). Siinmaa won the day over Hoarau and Dunsworth but the depth of the field is exciting, guys like Collins, Lautier,Habicht are banging hard on the door. Jordan Morgan had an off day for his usual wicked standards but true to his style he will aiming for retribution come racing at Geelong! It was very exciting seeing Matty Dunsworth race today, for me (Mossy) he was the stand out in our premier class today as he rode with purpose and vigar!
Well done to all our elite athletes as you are amazing to watch, can not wait for Round No 4 at Geelong Bmx Club next Sunday the 1st of April!!!!
trav and mossy will be making this a regular spot so thanks to them this is what we need to show our exciting sport to outsiders/sponsors etc

well round 4 of the TOUR is almost upon us (GEELONG SPECCY) so before we get to that id like to take time out to let you behind the scenes of the PRA team without them the TOUR would not exist.
the founders/trouble causers are trev stamford and gary morgan
with PRO TOUR  facebook down to jordan morgan, amanda morgan
and mario (MD PRINT) looking after the promotional material .
we have corey doyle working that video camera capturing all the action and a new recruit stephanie hunt on the stills camera, we now also have on the team mossy and trav who's insight into the sport is second to none and great commentators really hype it up.
with help along the way from jenko, tom sinmma, matty d, levi, chris molloy, wayne daniels.
it has been said that trev and myself are running the PRA but we couldn't do it without everyone's help, if you have anything you would like to contribute to the PRA and the PRO TOUR drop us a line or just stop us and have a chat it means a lot when we get some feedback well be in the PRO TOUR tent at GEELONG see you there!

Entries close Friday at 8pm. Entries are currently sitting at 150 over all classes. The last two days they all start rolling in. watch out for a massive field and some great racing on Sunday.

here at  PRA headquarters we don't rest on our Loral's, far from it the fact is we are not content with TOP 3 number plates for each PRO class or  the huge UNITED PRA cup and $400 cash bonus.
Not to mention the best racing the victorian pro classes have had in ten years and the biggest turnouts of PROS for the start of any vic calendar in memory!
Even the $2000 PRO purse for the top 8 shootout at rnd 5 in SHEPPARTON, just isn't enough there was something missing keeping us awake at night!
finally it was clear and here it is.

                                  The PRA RISING STAR AWARDS !

To be awarded to the most promising MALE and FEMALE rider from the TOUR, the criteria to be that rider is over the first 4 rnds.

1, you must be nominated by a PRO TOUR RIDER male or female

2, the winners must NOT! have placed higher than 4th overall at any rnd or be in the top 3 in the points AFTER rnd 4 the SPECCY.

3,  ONLY riders who have entered the TOUR are eligible to vote and MUST leave their name and candidate at PRO TOUR Facebook (and yes you can vote for more than 1 rider) as this will be open for anyone to see

4, voting finishes may 2nd at 8pm

the winners will receive the PRA RISING STAR 2012 number plate bearing their name and a cash bonus, at shepparton rnd 5.

The PRA is ran by the PRO'S for the PRO'S and we would like to offer this opportunity  for a potential sponsor to back these awards for future champions.

 65 PRO entries what a fantastic turnout great support guys lets put on a show for the locals and showcase top level PRO racing.
the points races are not yet decided by any means 1 mistake by any gold star rider will see their lead cut dramatically the idea here is target the nearest guys to you in the points and stay ahead of them no matter what!

well guys what a day on behalf of the PRA team i would like to congratulate the GEELONG crew for supporting a round 4 of the PRO TOUR we hope it lived up to your expectations as i certainly did for us.
we knew the PRA format would work but it was the level of success that was the mystery after 4 rnds the SPECCY was the answer we needed, with just short of 70!!!!! pro's the PRO TOUR  and PRA format is definitely the way of the future.
