Cycling Victoria is organising the 2012 Victoria Schools Cycling Championship (VSCC).
The 2012 VSCC is recognised by School Sport Victoria.
 
Both licensed (racing) and un-licensed (novice) riders aged 8 to 18 can participate in cycling races on fun and safe courses across the state.

BMX racing in the 2012 VSCC will be filmed by SBS and shown in a 10 minute time slot on the TV show Cycling Central.

This represents a great opportunity for Victorian students to be active and have a go at BMX and get to be on TV.

VSCC has a Zone qualifier followed by a State Final.

Zone Qualifiers
- Metro and East Zone on Wed 22 Aug 2012 at South Eastern BMX club
- West Zone on Wed 5 Sep 2012 at Geelong BMX club
- North Zone on Wed 19 Sep 2012 at Bendigo BMX club

State final is on Wed 24 Oct 2012 at Knox BMX club
