Here's a wildcard ... Jamie Gray.

Only been back on the bike around 12 weeks and blitzed at the Nerang Nationals.

Won every moto and the final at the Beenleigh open day today against some big names.

Sam, kalen, brian......caroline, lauren are my picks

+1

Next pick (in case any injuries)..
- Josh Callan or Anthony Dean (possibly 3 SA riders)

- Melinda MCLEOD

Elite men could possibly have three South Australians.......or three born in 1991

How many sx races has Jamie done in last 12 weeks??

Does anyone know when the team will be picked?? I'm guessing you would have to be part of the Hp squad to get a look in??

And do we get to take 4 riders in the mens class??

That's the problem, this far out (and for some months now) it seems that squad has been  locked in.
The HP squad, just them alone get to use the Sleeman track to train making it very difficult  for any one else to get a look in.

If Australia don't do well in London heads will roll.

From UCI Nations Ranking (based on top 3 riders):

2 AUSTRALIA Australia        3,851
3 UNITED STATES USA        3,523
4 LATVIA Latvia                  3,447
5 NETHERLANDS Netherlands 3,079

Oz points scorers:
Sam WILLOUGHBY     1780
Brian KIRKHAM          1152
Khalen YOUNG            919

Elite Women
1 UNITED STATES United States    3,884
2 AUSTRALIA Australia                   3,822
3 FRANCE France                           3,407
4 CZECH REPUBLIC Czech Republic 3,161

Oz points scorers:
