I think this selection is intersting not only do you have to go the ACT titles you now have to go to the aussies, where was that on the entry form, i agree with bots what if the riders never intended to go to the aussies. and no refund on the entry are you sure BMX isnt a part of the labour parts, there seams to be a lot of money grabing
but in saying the above where on the ACT form did it say event to be cancelled?? No one could have known what was going to happen..Joys of an outdoor sport! The kids that are keen and series for Mighty's were and are already going to Nationals, this decision may impact sadly on a very small group, the options reviewed was to impact as least as possible!! Sadly decisions like what BMXNSW have just made had to be the best of a bad situation for all. Where in the country could we make parents travel to for another qualifier?? When most already had the financial commitment and drain of Nationals. I do believe BMXNSW looked at as many options as possible to keep costs to a minimum for as many as possible. BMXA in previous years were not interested in having Mighty's Qualifier at Nationals and i also agree this would impact on the kids with schedules packed with Dynamites and championship classes. Kids would be compromising one race or another for the one they were most passionate about.. We shouldn't be pushing kids of this age to do things like that.. By not adding another event for qualification we have not added to the financial pain, stress for kids etc etc etc i could go on and on.. It doesn't matter what process has been used for the team selection not Everyone is EVER happy!! Just how things go!! Hopefully the option BMXNSW is running with will give a strong team and kids passionate about the event and what it represents. I am sure more details will roll out as fast as possible to all concerned. From someone who has been the fighter for this event for many years who has put in the work for it and towards it and happy to be involved in what it now has become!

Good compromise......
This must be one of the most innovative uses of transponders, getting results from riders aged 11 running in different UCI classes.
Nice work NSW
should be interesting, and look forward to seeing the outcome.. and one i am sure will be worked on spreadsheets to sort out!

Almost got it right Psyko, the Official list of riders is now available on the BMXNSW Home page. Girls are right, boys not for some unknown reason, we had the same teams you did as well.
