I don't think that having a minimum of 5 for a class is a problem.

There is 25 riders on the BMXV AA pro list, i know some of them are retired and some don't race AA, only Vet Pro or Age class, but i don't think it is unreasonable to have a minimum of 5 out of that.

Pro Girls is where the problem starts, we have a REAL problem getting them to our track.  This is why i have posted up for those in the class to contact each other to get them to come along.  The more there, the more money available.

Seperating A pro and AA pro, gives more chance to A Pro riders to make the main than 14+, so we are going to hopefully have some good numbers in A Pro, if track attack can have 5 gates at some of the rounds we are hoping to get at least 2 gates to each of the PRA rounds.

For the age classes, it give us (the club) the choice to run the class or not.  If 3 turn up, it our choice to merge them or run them with 3.

We always seem to have problems with riders turning up to our track, some say the track is too hard, others i am told don't like certain people in the club.  I personally think these are poor excuses.  I believe all riders should make every effort to get to all races, especially the smaller/struggling clubs as they rely on their only Open event for there main income of the year!

So there's no confusion, I'm not talking about 5 riders, I'm talking about this on the entry form:

There have to be minimum entries per class for this series to work, and be financially viable. Good promotion by the clubs and the PRA is a priority.
AA Pro min entries to be 16 riders $50 entry fee
A Pro min entry to be 20 riders $40 entry fee
Vet Pro O W min entries 20 riders $35 entry fee
Pro women min entries 10 riders $35 entry fee

That is just an example to show if those numbers turn up then that is the money available as a Prize Pool.    Min number per class is 5, this is maximum allowed by BMXV/BMXA/UCI (1 of them)

Entries have started to roll in.  Keep them coming.  Remember for the PRA and Junior state series all points scored go toward your series tally.

Due to JSS and PRA setups we will NOT be taking entries on the day so make sure you get your entry in early.

Come on people get those entries in, help us plan for the canteen.

So far menu is :-

chicken burgers,
hamburgers,
sausage in bread,
steam dim sims,
hotdogs,
lamb rolls

Where are all the Pro entries, don't leave it too late and miss the entry cut off,  remember all points from motos, semi's and finals count towards the top 8 shoot out race for extra $$$$$$ at the end of the series and your chance for going down in history for winning the inaugural PRA Cup.

With our round hosting a round of the JSS, we made the decision that no parent is going to enter the child the 3 classes for the day ie 8boys, 8JSS and 8-10 cruiser for a 1 day race.  Therefore we made the decision to drop the junior cruiser classes.

fair enough, and I thought that myself. Was thinking I could enter the young fellow in 8-10 cruiser and VSS. It would add a lot of motos to the list as well. No probs, look forward to Sunday. Always a great club to race at. Cool
