Kyle Bennett, One Of The Greatest BMXers of All Time, Gone at 33!
Smooth.....Fast.....Awesome! Those are just a few of the words that come to mind when it comes time to describe one of the most fantastic BMXers to throw a leg across a BMX bike, Kyle Bennett. "Butter" as he was known, lost his life early Sunday morning in a terrible truck crash in his home town of Conroe, Texas.
KB, who was a three time UCI BMX World Champion, was one of the most likeable and popular pros in the history of the sport and was still actively involved in racing at an elite level and had just recently taken on administrative responsibilities at his home track, Armadillo BMX. Kyle also is survived by his beloved daughter, Kylie.
A memorial vigil will be held to night at Kyle Bennett's Armadillo BMX......According to track personel....."Join us at the KB Armadillo BMX Park for Kyle Bennett’s Vigil, tonight at 8:30pm. Everyone please bring a candle along with something to light it."
