here at  PRA headquarters we don't rest on our Loral's, far from it the fact is we are not content with TOP 3 number plates for each PRO class or  the huge UNITED PRA cup and $400 cash bonus.
Not to mention the best racing the victorian pro classes have had in ten years and the biggest turnouts of PROS for the start of any vic calendar in memory!
Even the $2000 PRO purse for the top 8 shootout at rnd 5 in SHEPPARTON, just isn't enough there was something missing keeping us awake at night!
finally it was clear and here it is.

                                  The PRA RISING STAR AWARDS !

To be awarded to the most promising MALE and FEMALE rider from the TOUR, the criteria to be that rider is over the first 4 rnds.

1, you must be nominated by a PRO TOUR RIDER male or female

2, the winners must NOT! have placed higher than 4th overall at any rnd or be in the top 3 in the points AFTER rnd 4 the SPECCY.

3,  ONLY riders who have entered the TOUR are eligible to vote and MUST leave their name and candidate at PRO TOUR Facebook (and yes you can vote for more than 1 rider) as this will be open for anyone to see

4, voting finishes may 2nd at 8pm

the winners will receive the PRA RISING STAR 2012 number plate bearing their name and a cash bonus, at shepparton rnd 5.

The PRA is ran by the PRO'S for the PRO'S and we would like to offer this opportunity  for a potential sponsor to back these awards for future champions.

378 Entries, with 276 Riders is a fantastic result for a Victorian Open Meeting. Thanks to all the riders and families for your support. I can't wait for tomorrow as it will be an awesome day of racing.
