The DK Australia FB page suggests that Anthony Dean will be going to London

With DK Athlete Anthony Dean about to head to the London Olympics as a reserve we have decided to giveaway some signed product...........

Out here with big dog dean getting some practice on before he heads off to London — with Anthony Dean.

Congrats to all our riders, did well (and stayed safe!!) Hope Brooke Crain is OK - that hurts!

From my perspective after looking at the seeding results, not that any heats are easy, but it may have worked out well for KY more than any of the others?

Sam has a hard one!

Women's, due to there only being 2 gates, doesn't really make a lot of difference I think?

BMX team performed well. Swimmers worst performance in 20 years. Comes down to justifying budgets. High performance budgets is based upon the number of potential gold medals at Olympic level. The swim team didn't preform and the federal government want to know why. Hence why the High performance money was pulled from MTB back in 2008. No potential gold medals based on current crop of riders, last was Cadel.

Dr Phil, very few sports in the olympics have the designated sports coach as their own, look at swimming for example, each swimmer has their own coach, and this can be for various reasons, not least that the many of the athletes live throughout Australia, or even abroad (Ian Thorpe)

Now on the subject of Ian Thorpe, it was refreshing to see his contract and very lucrative sponsorship from Swimming Australia cancelled, seeing he hasn't been seen in a pool in alomst 6 months
