Made by the original guys from Crupi. So that explains the short rear end. Other than that its something only a mother could love Wink

Actually Hearnie, YESS were around long before Crupi and were responsible for making Crupi! Yes they were Canadian and then opened shop in the USA as Crupi and went from there! Yess made chain tensioners under Crupi brand name for a period there!

There current design hasn't changed a great deal since the original design either!

Not a big fan, bit ugly but are popular in NZ!

Look better anodized rather than painted. Not the best colour choices. Wink

I think they look okay.

But the support behind the seat tube?

Good colours, not just black or white and colours released a year later. No sticker graphic kits to confuse the newby or the old school parent.

A lot of MTB/Downhill and road bikes are using bent/curved shape tubing for their frames now and some are not.

Maybe YESS are before their time. Good luck to them!

Disclaimer below.

(No, we don’t have a YESS frame in our house. Would like to try one and see what snap and speed we can get out from the gate. Go through an intense rhythm and pro section and discuss how it felt during the chase behind the other rival. Hopefully the prophecy of anarchy for the little dudes going psychopath watching riders in flight and fright on the pro section is not too much. Hope they all have a super time).

Hello all,

Been a few months since this question was asked.

Has any one bought a YESS frame who is not sponsored and are you or the rider happy with it?

There is a heap of YESS here in NZ and all the riders love them. Our HP team are on them too, with good results.
