....there were 3 Jnr riders last time....last I checked 5 constitutes a class.
Check again Brian, ARA rules: - Nationals (class 6) min = 5 - State Open (class 7) min = 3 [Shep event] However, rules disclosed in an event flier (as approved by the SOD) supercede ARA guidelines. Both Shep and Park Orchards have used 5 resulting in classes of very broad age ranges (even when more classes are offered). Looking at entries...with a min of 5 you'll have to - merge Womens cruiser with mens cruiser (even though there are 3 women)... - combine lots of girls classses (even though 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 girls entry meet or exceed ARA guidlelines to have their own separate classes) - cancel Vet Pro as there are 4 riders - cancel AA Men as there are 4 riders

Some officials need to stay at home, I think they know who they are. Its the love of riding that keeps me in this sport, I just want to ask what is there reason?
PS. I dont care how that comes across, I'm a paying member, suck it up.
Officials are volunteers. FYI the definition of volunteer is: "A person who performs or offers to perform a service voluntarily (no pay)" Volunteering is an altruistic activity; and the backbone of providing facilities and event for the BMX community. Or, the opposite of the attitude you convey in your post... Glad you find your dictionary handy. Most volunteers are ok, but some should stay away from me. If your confused by anything, read it again or accept it. Either way doesnt bother me.
