Well i hope it is gold & silver in mens and womens for Australia.
I think Conner Fields was the most impressive rider in the 1/4s though, nailed the gate every time and never looked in trouble. Villers had it pretty easy in his 1st heat, with the rest of the field crashing, but was still pretty impressive.
My prediction, tonight will be another crash fest.

My worry is crashing.  People in position 5-8 making desperate moves.

In my post in the other topic I made I mentioned I have a strange feeling marc willers will win, would love to see sam & KY make the podium.


I have a feeling sam is preserving himself abit at the moment, come semis & it will be a different story.
If he gets a good starts & gets over the jump before the first corner smoothly the race will be his... I hope.     I noticed one of his heats he wasn't as smooth which washed some of his speed off.


But who am I to comment,

I didn't realize they had the finals already, I thought they were still doing semis. (only just saw the mens final this morning on ch9)

Poor marc having bad luck in the semis.

Congrats to sam for silver, you can tell he was dissapointed with the result in his interview, just didn't have the best start otherwise he would've smoked em. (I can't imagine the amount of pressure you'd feel in an Olympic final)


Didn't see carorlines race, I heard she got 5th?

yep 5th, another bad start, she was pretty well last out of the gate.

WOW. what an incredable few days it has been.  Sure there were some dissapointments but OVERALL it has been a resounding success.  Plus we bagged a silver medal.  I think there is going to be a massive influx of new riders.  Lets welcome this. Stoked.
