Exciting times ahead for Bmx at all levels of the sport hopefully as i saw this in the latest Dirt email
BMX Australia President Barry Knight today announced the appointment of Mark Louis as their new General Manager. Mark’s experience spans over fifteen years in sports administration, marketing and event management.   

“We conducted an extensive search and we are confident that Mark brings the skill set required to lead BMX Australia through its next phase of growth and development.” Knight said.

“We look forward to working with and supporting Mark to deliver our long term goals with the sport going from strength to the strength on the back of a hugely successful National Championships and looking forward to further success at this weeks World Championships and Olympic Games in July.”

Mark’s appointment comes at a time where the sport continues to grow.

“I am honoured to fill this role and am committed to work with the Board, our Members, Cycling Australia and the broader BMX community in Australia to ensure we are able to provide a professional environment to support, grow and develop the sport” Louis said.
