at one stage of the event during Sunday elite finals, Redman was commentating, and announced “good luck riderrrs..” in 5 different languages, within less than 3 seconds.., just squeezing it in before the main call started to roll.   I thought that was pretty cool.  Cool

Would Redman have been paid , given flights etc. Were the Aussie commentators paid does anyone know. Was it equally shared? Have the Aussies commentated at other world titles?
Cheers

It was like listening to a Transit DVD! Great to get that feel to the event. Must say the Aussies Commentators kept him honest, they did an awesome job too. A little more informative too just quietly then big Mike Grin

to answer mr ex speaker, redman is on a contract to call 5 uci events each year, the 4 supercross world cup events plus the world titles.  last year he missed adelaide sx and china worlds due to illness for 1 and divorce for the other.  the aussie commentators were not paid at all.
