Yes the link refers to the requirements were you to purchase a system which quite a few clubs are doing.

The sport needs to move forward by making ownership of a transponder compulsory just like carting etc.  people will whinge like mad but they don't want to stand and do lines either.

Participation at the state championships should require personal transponder ownership in say 2015, that would be a good start IMO.

A.  It does not cost $7900 to set up your club for transponders.  Most tracks can be set up for around $400.  Everything else comes in the kit that you šan arrange to use via BMXQ.

B.  transponders have been in use for at least three years in the other zones.  In C.Q for example every open day bar one has used them for the last two to three years.

It is not a question of it being difficult .  It is a change in people's thinking that is required.

First up I would like to clarify that I am not a member of any of the clubs who's tracks have been criticised in this thread.  But look at the results that their riders consistently achieve and they are doing something right.  I suspect the evolution of their tracks is a contributing factor?

Son uses Crupi Pro bars  on his 20 and Crupi cruiser bars.

I use S&M XLT bars on my 20 and Crupi cruiser bars.

Racing / Re: Spectator shades - Nerang Internationals

This year will be our 11th consecutive visit to Nerang.  We have never sought to enter the childish melee that is the rush for a spot for our shade.BUT we have never had an issue either with finding a spot towards the back and wandering to the front to watch the races we want to watch.

In my view if everyone wants to be able to see then the only outcome is that we start to charge admission to events of this popularity and suitable facilities are put in place.

I doubt this would be palatable to the majority either hence the current situation will prevail.
