GoBMXing Day Brisbane

Go BMXing Day was inspired by the Vans Go Skating Day, it’s fitting that it’s an idea by riders for riders. It’s all about getting people out on bikes for an entirely non-formal social ride. The date, November 14, is significant in BMX history. It marks the day that Scot Breithaupt organised the first BMX race in Long Beach California, it’s widely recognised as the first ever BMX race, the beginning of it all. This year marks the 45th anniversary of BMX.

BMX legend Bruce Morris took the idea and ran with it to organise an event in Brisbane. Which has a lot of support from businesses and riders. Cam Small, from CycleCraft and Crisp, put his head down and came up with a poster and t-shirt design. You could say that the Brisbane crew are ready to celebrate in style.
