The BMX Racing kicks off tomorrow at Toronto 2015 (The Pan Am Games). Just like Baku was a nice stage for potential Olympians to prove themselves and a World Championships warm up race for the European’s, the Pan Am games will be for the hottest riders from the Americas. Just 14 female and 24 male competitors the early stages of qualifying and racing might sort out the field, but when it comes to finals time there’s going to be some world class racing, you can be sure of that.

In 2011 USA’s Connor Fields and Nick Long went 1 & 2 in the men’s class with Colombia’s Andres Jimenez taking third. Fields and Long are both back but Jimenez isn’t on the Columbian roster this time around.

In the women’s class Mariana Pajon took gold for Colombia with USA’s Arielle Martin taking silver and Gabriela Diaz taking bronze. The women’s field is very different this time around, although Pajon may be favourite for many picking a winner would just be a lucky guess.

We haven’t been able to track down a link for a live feed, which is a shame I’d love to watch the racing.
