Six years ago Scot Breithaupt “The OM of BMX” was recognised by the County of Los Angeles for organising the first ever BMX race, which was held way back on November 14, 1970.

In 2010 there was a massive celebration of BMX in the Long Beach area in California that included a mixture of BMX legends and fans. Check out the video of how it all went down.
