French gate manufacturer, PROSTART, already have two practice gates in their line up, and they have been taking their time to develop a third, the PROSTART Max.

We caught up with Quentin at the 2022 USABMX Grands in Tulsa Oklahoma to get the run down on the Max, a comparison against the Original and a look at the add-on timing option.

The obvious difference is the Max is significantly wider, longer and has two magnets making it even more versatile. It allows for a larger range of bikes including 29″. And the twin magnet system allows for a stiffer gate.

The PROSTART Max is due for release in February 2023.
