Casey Robinson from Calculated Racing, based at Santa Cruz in California, gives us an insight to Calculated Racing, the R Series and VSR products and an exciting new project.

A recent change in direction has allowed them to concentrate on product development and will see a new offering with a range of sub 8lb complete bikes for the 3-8 year olds.

Calculated will create new standards to tighten up the q-factor, narrowing both the rear hub and the bottom bracket shell.
