The BSX event, an annual one on one BMX race, raises money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation in Melbourne and 100% of profits from the event are donated to the RCH.
Don’t forget to save the date, Monday 13 January 2025. We look forward to seeing you there.
Head Shave: Rustyn McCarthy
We are very excited to to announce that Rustyn McCarthy, Staystrong Australia team rider and all round nice guy, has volunteered his magnificent mullet for the chopping block.
The head shave has been well recieved at BSX events in the past raising lots of money for the Royal Children’s Hospital. We will be taking donations on the day, but if you can’t make it and would like to make a donation and help us claim Rustyn’s luscious locks here’s the link: rchfundraising.com.au/p/361829/profile-bsx2025-rustyn-mccarthys-head-shave.
A special thanks to Rustyn for sacrificing his hair, we know he’s been supporting the mullet for a long time now and has become very attached to it. It’s an amazing gesture to help the cause. Amie Main, hairdresser to the stars, will be back on the clippers for the Profile BSX2025 so you’ll be in good hands Rustyn.

ABOUT BSX
BSX (Bicycle Supercross) is one-on-one sprint trails style BMX racing on a backyard track built specifically to test a rider’s skills. The short straights, lofty jumps and tight corners are intense under race conditions, offering a fun and entertaining event for competitors and spectators alike. The event provides a unique experience for the local Victorian riders, as well as the interstate and international visitors during an off day of the annual Track Attack series.
The primary goal BSX is to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation but there’s so much more to the event. It creates an atmosphere that words just can’t describe. Since the very first event in 2006 BSX has raised $80,000 helping to providing the hospital with much-needed equipment.
