Within this film, we want to showcase contemporary BMX racing. Our aim is to show BMX racing at its most exciting and in the very best light.
ALANS BMX are partnering with DIG BMX (magazine/website) to guarantee the furthest worldwide media reach and the race itself is in conjunction with our friends at FIFITEEN BMX.

About Preston Pirates BMX Club
Preston Pirates BMX Club was founded in 2005 and provides expert race coaching to riders of all levels and ages. Today, our club has in excess of 100 members and is well represented at BMX racing events regionally, nationally and globally. Our club exists thanks to a huge volunteering effort, with over thirty volunteers coordinated by a dedicated committee, all sharing a passion for cycling, the community and enabling courageous riders of all ages to develop the skills needed to compete on the track. 70 riders represented the club at the British Championships in August 2023, the second largest team in Britain, with 28 making the finals; 2 coming away with the coveted 01 plate and the title of British Champion for their age category. The club has riders on the British Cycling performance pathways at regional, national and academy level, along with multiple riders with World and European rankings, including Team GB’s Ross Cullen. Whilst the club celebrates individual success, it ensures riders give back to the community through our talent development programmes. In addition to our weekly coaching sessions, open track sessions and race series, mentoring sessions are run every fortnight, where our age 11+ riders take charge to develop the skills of the less experienced (not necessarily younger!) riders. Mentoring has directly led to riders becoming trained and accredited coaches, with former Olympian Kyle Evans now an Academy Coach for Team GB. We are always encouraging even more riders to try their hand at BMX racing! Riders ready, watch the gate!
