The Hurstbridge Show and Shine has become one of the biggest celebrations of the history of BMX in Victoria with hundreds of bikes that have helped shape the sport as we know it today.

The event is on Sunday August 31 starting at 9am

The trophy categories are

• Best vintage – Pre 1980
• Best old school – 1980 to 1989
• Best mid school – 1990 to 1999
• Best new school – 2000 to present
• Best freestyle – All years
• Best retro – 2000 to present
• Best aussie – All years
• Best mini / pitbike – All years
• Best cruzer – All years
• Best survivor / shed fresh – Any thing from the 1970s to 1990
• Best display – Any display
• Best non bmx – All years
• Peoples choice – Every bike there on the day … bmx or non bmx
