The NSW state championships were held at the Lake Macquarie BMX track over the weekend. Kai Sakakibara stamped his dominance on the Pro Men’s class with a win on both days. Billy Jolliffe was also in the mix with a second and a third, and the living legend Luke Madill also pulled a podium with a second on Sunday and an eighth on Saturday. Saya Sakakibara pulled the win in Pro Women on Saturday. Leanna Curtis took the second on Saturday and followed that up with a win on Sunday.
