bmxultra.com team update
bmxultra.com press release
Levi Collins, Aaron Rogers, and Shane Jenkins have been flying the bmxultra.com flag high these past few weeks.
Eastfield Experience
Levi Collins was in the mix in AA Pro while in the five spot in the main Levi dropped the bike in the second corner. He got up and dusted himself off to finish in eighth place.
Shane Jenkins and Aaron Rogers were in the vet pro class. Rogers made the cut for the final and finished in seventh place while Jenkins missed the cut and had to watch the final from the sidelines.
Cash Dash
With no vet pro class Collins, Jenkins and Rogers all entered in the Pro Open. While Jenkins and Rogers were both moto’d Collins had a blinder of a meeting. Levi went 1-1-2 in the qualifying heats, took second in this semi and went on to win the final.
Frankston Pre-Titles
Collins took the week off. Again there was no vet pro so Rogers and Jenkins raced in the 30-39 class where most of the other Vet Pro riders decided to race. Once again Rogers made the main and Jenkins missed the cut. Rogers went on to finish fifth.
Frankston Helltrack
With only 8 riders in the AA men’s class it was points right through. With some consistent racing Levi finished with the overall second place.
Rogers took the week off, so Jenkins was on his own in the Vet Pro class. After qualifying in sixth place it was his first final since returning to the track after a long layoff with a serious back injury. Although it didn’t quite go to plan Jenkins was happy to finished in seventh place.
Knox Thunderdome
Collins was once again in the running in the AA Pro mens class, he’d qualified comfortably for the final but had to settle for sixth.
The vet pro class was the biggest of the pro classes for the weekend, but Jenkins and Rogers didn’t have much luck at Knox, both missed the cut for the final.
Victorian State Championships
Levi Collins was in the AA pro class that was loaded with 24 riders from around the country. In the time trial he finished with 17th, but the racing was a different story. Levi finished with 2-5-4 in the qualifying heats but could only manage a fifth place in his semi final.
Shane Jenkins was in the 40-44 mens cruiser class, he finished 3-2-4 in the motos, 2 in the semi and finished with a third in the final. Shane was also in the Vet Pro class and with a 3-4-3 in the motos he qualifid for the final and finished in seventh.
Aaron Rogers competed in the 30-34 mens cruiser class and made the podium finishing in third place, he followed that up with a sixth place in the 30-34 mens class.
