Well the word is out, Elite Cycle Imports (ECI) will now be the Australian distributor for Hyper BMX. ECI are one of the oldest and biggest BMX distributors in Australia and have deep roots in the race scene and work with some of the biggest brands in the business including Profile, Answer, Alienation, Sun Ringle, Kuwahara, ACS, One Bicycles, THE, Dirt and many more.

ECI were the Australian distributor for Hyper back in their early days so it’s only fitting that the two have partnered up again.

ECI have done amazing things with pricing and availability on their current product range, we are sure that Hyper will be no different.

Official word from the Hyper BMX Australia team Facebook page states “Great news team, ECI (elite cycle imports) owner Gary Brookes will once again be bring the Hyper brand to Australia . Hyper BMX Australia will be falling in with ECI. Looking forward to a great year with the support of Gary. This will cut down our delivery times.

Thanks Gary, here’s to a great year ahead going from strength to strength.”

This means there won’t be any major changes with teams, what it does mean though is Hyper products, like the brand new Mission 1 frame, will be through all good bike shops around Australia.

Look out for Hyper BMX USA Team rider, Matt White, and Hyper BMX Australia team to be flying the Hyper colours.
