Huffy Bicycles Hosts Expanded BMX Team at Ohio Headquarters

MIAMISBURG, Ohio – February, 2025 – Huffy (huffy.com), the brand spanning over 130 years of triumphs and innovations in the bicycle industry, announced their reentry into the world of BMX – both freestyle and race – in early 2024. Since then, the team has been relentless in their pursuit of growth within the category as they’ve pursued the expansion of their team of riders in addition to a more robust BMX product line to be released throughout 2025. The entire Huffy BMX team gathered in Dayton at Huffy’s headquarters in Miamisburg, Ohio, on Tuesday, February 18th to celebrate the growth of the team and BMX program as a whole for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

Composed of seven unique riders with individual talents and styles of riding, the Huffy BMX team has a shared desire to see the sport grow and to nurture young riders’ passion and skills to encourage their success in BMX. Each rider has a unique story of how they came to know and love the sport, and their heart for their craft shows through in their commitment to #LiveTheRide every day. The entire team, in some capacity, participates in clinics or other events targeted towards young riders to help build their confidence and teach them more about BMX, showing firsthand their commitment to getting more kids off of their screens and out on bikes. The Huffy BMX team competes locally, nationally, and globally, making Huffy BMX known across the world.

“Each of these talented riders shares our passion for getting more kids and families on bikes and inspiring wheeled adventures – whether that’s at a local skatepark or in their own neighborhood,” said Chris King, VP of Marketing and DTC for United Wheels, the parent company of Huffy. “Huffy’s rich history in BMX and in the cycling category overall helps us be well-suited to serve every rider from those trying BMX for the first time to riders who are training with the end goal of becoming an Olympian. Our vertical integration and wealth of knowledge from over 130 years in the industry gives us confidence in the products we are providing to families across the globe.”

“The past year has been energizing for the Huffy team, and fueled the fire in our organization to continue our pursuit of growth and success in BMX. With our passionate and dedicated team of riders beside us, we are thrilled for all that is to come in 2025 and beyond!” added King.
