Russell Brown is a great friend of ours, we go way back, he’s one of the most friendly natured guys you would ever meet, he would do anything for anyone, and he loves his BMX. He returned to racing late last year after many years absent from the sport. He’s been showing massive improvements since he first started back and there is no one more enthusiastic to race (he has already entered nearly every race in the lead up to and including the National Championships). Russell has continued to develop his skills and push himself to get amongst it.

Since winning his first open race last weekend Russell has been diagnosed with DVT which will keep him from racing for approximately 6 months. It’s unfortunate as he’s not only a great friend but a true sportsman and a hungry competitor.

As they say every cloud has a silver lining and we are very proud to announce that Russell will be joining the bmxultra.com crew in a photographer role. Welcome to the family Russell!
