I didn’t hear much in the way of new products out of the legendary Profile Racing camp from Interbike, but was very surprised to hear they have been working on a new serviceable Freewheel. I don’t have any photos yet, but if their other products are anything to go by you can be sure the Profile Freewheel will be well worth a look.

Here’s what to expect

• Profile Elite Freewheel: 16t through 18t available in 2 weeks
• 19t through 22t in 2 months
• 140 points of engagement
• 2 sealed bearings
• Heat Treated chromo outer with nickel plating and a titanium inner driver
• 4 springs/4 pawls
• 1.375 by 24 inch thread on the freewheel
