Paradigm Bikes Cromo Frames Revealed
Paradigm Bikes invited us down to check out their new cromo frames on display at the Hand Made Bicycle Show in Williamstown on the weekend. They had two variations of the 20″ Toe Cutter and a 26″ dirt jumper call the Thunder Cat. The Paradigm frames are custom made to order from high quality 4130 cromo, made by hand right here in Melbourne.
The Toe Cutter display bikes both featured tapered steerers to allow use of modern race forks, euro bottom bracket shells for the widest range of crank options, disc brake mounts, but one featured a standard horizontal dropout while the other featured a fixed dropout with chain tensioner/guide. While speaking with the guys from Paradigm they said with customisation the options are endless. The frames were immaculately presented with some amazing colour finishes, with great welds and clean lines, making them a modern classic for those who appreciate the feel of cromo.
We have a video interview with Dane that should be live later this week with a lot of technical information so make sure you keep an eye out for that. In the meantime make sure you check out our photos.
