It seems like things are on the up and up for the freewheel market, we’ve seen Profile’s recent release of the Elite Freewheel and now ACS have hit back with a new “near instant” engagement freewheel.

The ACS Crossfire Pro 1.5 freewheel is made from cold forged chromoly with nickel plated 3/32″ teeth to prevent rust and a sealed bearing mechanism for long lasting performance. Precision CNC machined pawls and steps allow for engagement every 1.5° for a positive feel and near instant acceleration.

• Engagement every 3 degrees, compared to 6 degrees with the current PRO model.
• Removable with universal 4-prong tools
• Flat front surface fits better on crank or jackshaft mounting
• Cold forged chromoly components, CNC wire cut pawls and steps, 3 pawls engaging simultaneously
• Sealed mech bearings on both sides of sprocket
