OS20 has been in development for a couple of years now but only just coming available to the general public thanks to Alienation who manufacture the rims and Tioga who manufacture the tires. There are frames that are OS20 specific (GT & Chase come to mind), but there are also frames that are compatible with OS20, our team rider Dane Anderson has been running OS20 for over a year in his GHP Pro XXL frame.

What ls OS2O?

OS2O is NOT 22?. OS2O is 20”, but bigger. There are two wheel sizes in the 20? category – the 20? on Jr/mini bikes which uses the 45lmm diameter wheel in narrow widths (for 20-1/8? & 20-3/8? tires), and the conventional 20? which uses the smaller 4O6mm diameter wheel but in wider widths. OS2O is 451mm wheel diameter in similar widths as 406mm wheels. OS2O tires are not compatible with Jr/Mini sized rims, and OS2O rims are not compatible with Jr/Mini sized tires.

Note: Designed for OS20 frames only. Requires use of OS20 specific tires and 20×1-3/8″ tubes.

The advantages of OS20

• Rolls faster and smoother over bumps
• More stable at speed and in the air
• Larger contact patch for more traction off the gate and higher lean angles in the turns

The disadvantages of OS20

• Slightly higher rotating weight
• Small adjustment period getting used to the way the larger wheel responds to rider input
