Answer BMX have launched a new top load stem, the Chokehold. Although there’s not a great deal of information about it just yet it’s interesting  that Answer chose to go with a top load stem while the trend appears to be to move towards lower front ends. You can expect to see a lot of people running these upside down to lower their handbar height. With their seven lengths they cover quite a big range. 37mm is about as short as you will get for a 1 1/8″ steerer. 65mm is ample for the taller riders looking for a little more reach.
