Product Spotlight: Elite Seat and Cool Down Post
The Elite Seat is just about ready to re-launch.
The Elite Seat is a simple design. With most cool down posts you need to remove your race seat and post and replace it with another seat and longer post for warm up and cool downs. This means a constant undoing and redoing a quick release to pop the seat out, it also means you have to keep track of your race seat. The Elite Seat has a different approach where you leave your race seat in and the Elite Seat post drops in to your seat, effectively meaning you have two seats on your bike for warm ups and cool downs.
Originally the Elite Seat crew relied on supply of a seat/post combo from another supplier, but the new version introduces Elite Seat’s own light weight seat and seat post extender to fit.
You can buy them separately if you like the look and the weight of the Elite Seat. But you will need the Elite Seat for the Elite Seat post extender to be of any use to you.
We got our hands on the prototypes a few months ago, for a short period, and have been sitting on the photos all this time. Make sure you check them out for a good look at these cool new products from the guys at Elite Seat.
