I will always be a fan of V-Brakes, sure they are basic, it’s the simplicity and the braking power at a low cost that wins me over.

Rather than being forced to update my hub to disk I’d be happy to pay more money for a good v-brake system that works, but when the v-brake looks good too, like the Evil Alloy Pro1 braking system, it’s a bonus.
