Product Spotlight: Excess EXE-3 Carbon Wheels.

Excess Components have added a new high end wheel to their broad range of products. They have an all new Excess EXE-3 Carbon Wheels which includes Excess carbon rims laced into an all new Excess hubset.

The EXE front hubs are configured with a 10mm axle but can be easily modified to change them to 20mm.

The rear EXE hub offers, a near instant, 360 points of engagement. There’s the ISO model which has the disc mount built in or the CL option which has a removable disc adapter so you can switch between V-brake and disc.

The rims have a nice 3K carbon fiber gloss finished carbon weave.

Introducing our all new EXE Complete Wheels line up

The Excess EXE-3 Carbon Fiber wheels are our top of the line, Elite level wheel set with 3K Carbon Rims and the high end 360 points of engagement in the rear cassette hub.

On all of our Wheels, we also feature the ability for you to purchase an adapter to be able to upgrade the rear hub by adding a brake rotor adapter and convert the hub to use a disc brake or ISO rear hub. Also for the wheels in all the XLS lines, the front hub can be converted from 3/8″ to 20mm on the 20 Pro Lite / Pro and 24″ Pro Models with the purchases of an additional adaptor.

Laced up with the Pro level Rear hub that features 360 points of engagement in a 3 pawls with 5 fin claws clutch system. Other Key features include upgradable Disc brake compatible rear hubs on all wheels and on both of the Pro Lite/Pro Wheelset options, you can also upgrade with an 20mm Front hub Adapter.

EXE-3 406 Wheelset

The EXE-3 406 Carbon Fiber Wheelset is the perfect addition to your high end race machine features a Pro level rear cassette hub that can take the power of a pro rider and keep you out front of the pack!

The EXE-3 Pro Lite/Pro 20” Wheelset features our exclusive 3K Carbon Fiber rims that feature 2 different rim profiles front and rear, each with a low profile, and hi-gloss finish.

Also uses a rear Cassette Hub with a 3 pawls system with 5 fin claws, locking into a 120 ratchet cutter ring, giving you that extra torque needed for full power gate starts! The rear hub also offers the option for you to be able to convert it for use with a disc brake!

ISO VERSION : Only for Disc Braking

CL VERSION :We offer this by allowing you to be able to accept a disc brake via an optional Disc Center Lock adapter! This gives you the best of both worlds. The Wheels are set up out of the box for V Brakes, but you can upgrade to Disc at anytime without getting a new rear hub!

For the Front hub, we also offer a front Axle Conversion kit to change it from the stock 3/8? to 20mm! The wheels are delivered with a 3/8? front axle set up, but with the purchase of the optional front 20mm hub conversion kit, you can convert the front hub to 20mm, allowing you to be able to use a 20mm dropout fork!

All the wheels feature white graphics, Hi-Gloss Black Natural Carbon finish, and 2 unique Rim Profiles.
