Product Spotlight: Profile Convoy Tee
The guys at Profile really know how to celebrate. And when it comes to their 55th Anniversary the celebrations continue to be fruitful with the release of yet another iconic tee to mark the occasion.
Here’s the story behind the design.
A little piece of Profile history, now on a Tee shirt.
This original flyer was done in 1978 upon Profile Racing moving from Flemington, NJ. to St. Pete, Florida.
Billy Nemick owned a sign business in Flemington; he was hired on through the 70’s to make all the original Profile signage including the artwork on Profile Racing sponsored Oval Track Race Cars.
This temporary building (depicted in the drawing) was Profile’s temporary headquarters from 1978 to 1979, it was also the location that witnessed the prototyping and inception of Profile’s Iconic, 19mm, 48 splined box cranks.
Profile would move, in late 1979, to it’s third location near Madeira Beach. And although we are now at our 4th and final location, the third location is still owned and operated by Profile, and houses the machines that do the first 3 steps in our crank production.
As with all Profile soft good these are limited in numbers, you will need to act quickly.
