Profile Racing launched the brand new Profile Elite AL Crank set at the Grands in Tulsa last month. These things aren’t just pure eye candy, they are poised to turn the alloy crank market on it’s head.

Worth noting is the reduced Q factor. Profile Racing have acknowledged the market calling for a narrower stance, so you will notice a distinct difference in the profile of the crank.

For the weight weenies out there, they do compare weight wise with the Profile Elite (cromo) cranks. With a full set weighing in at 1.04 kgs.

Until now there hasn’t been a lot of information about them. But we have finally had a chance to dig up all the fine details and had some spy photos supplied by the guys at ECI Imports. They were able to smuggle a couple of sets into the country with a lot of help from Dane Anderson of Paradigm.

It’s exciting to see they have decided to extend the range of sizes to include 165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm, 175mm & 180mm, however if you want anything aside from 175mm there could be a bit of a wait.

It’s still early days, but we’re told Australian pricing should be coming soon.

Profile Elite AL Crank Set

• The Elite AL crankset includes left & right crank arms, 30mm Aluminum axle, 2 crank/pedal washers & 8 bolts for Spider
• *NOTE: Spider and Bottom Bracket are sold separately and are not included!!
