I was recently recommended the Unparallel Up Link clip shoes. You see, I’ve been on the hunt for some clip shoes lately. I’m not looking for exactly what everyone else is using. I’ve been a flat pedal racer for decades, so I want something that provides good power transfer, feels comfortable to walk in, and looks like a casual shoe. The Unparallel Up Link mountain bike shoe ticks the boxes for me, despite being a mountain bike shoe. But, let’s face it, there isn’t a clipless shoe made specifically for BMX racing is there? A BMX race might only be about 40 seconds, but I want a pair of shoes that I can wear the entire race day, and for me, I couldn’t think of anything worse than most of the other shoes on the market today that would look better paired with some fluro Lycra.  Check ’em out.
