MudX have been developing some race pants, but before just releasing them in the wild they have been doing some R&D through their testing program. We understand there will be two different pants available, a lighter material for those who are into that sort of thing and the more traditional heavier MX material. They will come in stock colours and a large range of sizes with the option to customise the colours to match your race kit. But that’s about all we know so far. I’m sure there will be more information when the pants are closer to the release date.

For now, here’s an update from product testing:

This is how TOUGH our new release purpose built BMX Pants will be.

Our Test Pilot had a crash and came down hard. Our Test Pilot was wearing compression pants underneath as is required during testing.

The pants copped the full impact and hit hard. See the image above. However, there is almost no visible damage to the Impact Zone.

However the compression pants being worn underneath which were brand new, are now destroyed.

These pants are also our light weight race pant and not the heavier pant! Just imagine, if this is the quality and strength of our pro-lite BMX race pant and prototype, just how good will the finished product be when it is released to the market!!!
