Manufacturer’s Description
We get asked for the SX250 as much as the Vision F1, and we are humbled that people now love our original 6 bar design more now than when we released it 35 years ago. I know it seems like the last few anniversary’s or “RAD”averserary’s we have been bringing back the “6 bar” the classic SX250, but each time it was limited runs. 10 pcs of this, 33 pcs of that, and each one was unique, so each one is a collector edition in it’s own right. And this time we are doing it again. If you look closely, not only is the 6 bar back, but this is the first time we have gone back and actually re created the original “Fish Head ” Star Products dropout for this 35 pc , 35 year anniversary edition. Yes you read that right. 35 pcs of each of the 3 sizes. 20″ , 26″ and of course the 29″.
If you were at Dirtyfest 2, you saw Camel Joe – Josh Randall on the prototype of this variant of the SX250, serial #001, and was track testing it in the California Sun and having just as much fun as we did 35 years ago. Ryder Merki was shredding up one of the Original SX125 Pro Frames , and Kylie Martin was tearing up the track on the 30 year anniversary SX250 Prototype. lets say that there was a lot of SX250 Action going on at Dirtyfest… after all, that is where a BMX bike belongs, in the dirt, with your friends.
